Power Steering Mod in Maruti Suzuki Alto LX 2011 (Type 2)

I own an Alto LX (Type 2) 2011 model which came with a non power steering, I’ve been driving my car for the last 10 months on daily basis & driving a car with a non power steering is a big hassle, also I’ve been doing some or the other small mods (conversion to VXI)

this time I thought to take a bigger jump i.e. an OEM power steering mod. To which I successfully succeed.

Power Steering Assembly

Wiring Harness

and a bunch of tools

I arranged steering assembly of another Alto (Type 1) from Mayapuri, Delhi. This came with a power steering motor.

Got the Wiring Harness of the same car later on which I got to know that this won’t fit with my ECU. #paisabarbaad

Then a very good friend of mine

guided me with the applicable wiring harness though he helped me out through the whole process

This time it was a win win for the Alto Power Steering Mod.
